If you are considering writing a Book to sell online, there are some things you should consider before you begin the project. Lots of people write and sell eBooks for a profit, so you're not in this alone. But do you really know why you want to write a Book?
First, define your purpose. What is your reason for wanting to write an eBook? What message do you want to impart to others? How can your book help someone?
What is your main motivation behind writing the eBook? What is driving you? Will this motivating factor be enough to sustain you when you reach a standstill or face writer's block?
What do you hope to accomplish by writing a book? What are your goals? Will you sell a certain number of copies? Will you give it away for free to build your list? You should have a clearly defined list of goals for your eBook before you even begin writing it.
How will writing this eBook help yourself? While your ebook's message will reach out and help other people, how will it help you? Are you wanting to build your writing skills? Are you working on establishing yourself as an expert within a specific niche? Everything has a purpose. Decide how this will help you.
Finally, how will your ebook help others? How will it affect each person that reads it? Will it cause them to change their way of thinking? Move towards a different way of living? Practice new methods they didn't know existed?
